Rise Up Doylestown is a nonpartisan grassroots collective, organizing for social, racial, reproductive and environmental justice, rooted in beloved community, in and around Doylestown, Pennsylvania.
We stand together in solidarity with our partners and children for the protection of our rights, our safety, our health, and our families – recognizing that our vibrant and diverse communities are the strength of our country and our world.
We stand on the shoulders of civil rights and social justice warriors stretching back for hundreds of years in our nation. Our group began to take shape as a small and determined group of founders who pulled together the Women’s March on Doylestown on January 21, 2017 in just six days. The core leaders have over 50 years of collective experience with organizing and activism in our own community, country, and around the world. The Women’s March on Doylestown was a historic family-friendly march in solidarity with over 4.5 million marchers worldwide, it brought over 2,000 people out to march in the streets of our community for social justice, human rights, and against the racism, bigotry, oppression, environmental destruction, and injustice facing our communities, our schools, our nation, and our world. In the year since, we have engaged in dozens of actions and today, we rise again! We will not go away. We are still here - rising for justice, freedom, peace and beloved community.
Rise Up Doylestown (RUD) has become an active group in the Doylestown and surrounding areas and is over 2,000 members strong! Please join our local progressive movement! To sign up for our weekly emails, to connect with us, and/or for more info, find us here:
